Job Title: Works Manager / Workshop Manager

Job OverviewThe Works Manager leads end-to-end workshop activities, ensuring that vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, and quality checks meet manufacturer (OEM) standards. This role requires balancing solid technical expertise with team leadership, cost control, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workshop Operations & Workflow Management

- Manage day-to-day workshop floor operations, including routine service, mechanical repairs, warranty jobs, and accidental body work.
- Assign daily tasks and service requests to service advisors, floor supervisors, and technicians.
- Minimize vehicle Turnaround Time (TAT) and optimize bay utilization to maximize daily throughput. [1, 2]

2. Quality Control & Compliance

- Enforce strict quality control standards and conduct final Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on serviced vehicles to prevent repeat complaints.
- Ensure all repairs comply with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) technical guidelines and safety protocols.




- Manage warranty claim processes and documentation accurately. [1, 2]

3. Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, train, and motivate technical and support staff.
- Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and training needs.
- Conduct daily review meetings to address operational bottlenecks and assign responsibilities. [1]

4. Financial & Performance Targets

- Drive workshop profitability by meeting monthly service revenue, labor sales, and cost-reduction targets.
- Coordinate with the spare parts department to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid delays.
- Maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Management Information System (MIS) reports. [1]

5. Customer Satisfaction (CSI)

- Handle customer escalations, technical disputes, and difficult complaints promptly.
- Ensure clear communication of repair estimates, extra work needed, and delivery timelines to customers.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
