Role Overview: Workday Implementation Specialist A Workday Implementation Specialist is responsible for planning, configuring, implementing, testing, and deploying Workday solutions to meet an organization's HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Finance, and Workforce Management requirements.

The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, HR teams, IT teams, and Workday technology, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of Workday across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements & Solution Design

- Gather and analyze business requirements from HR, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct workshops and fit-gap analysis sessions.
- Translate business needs into Workday configurations and solutions.
- Recommend Workday best practices and process improvements.

Workday Configuration & Implementation
- Configure Workday modules based on client requirements.
- Design and maintain business processes, workflows, security roles, and approvals.
- Support data migration, data validation,



and system setup activities.
- Ensure alignment with organizational policies and compliance requirements.

Testing & Deployment
- Prepare test scenarios and conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Resolve configuration and process-related issues.
- Support cutover activities and production deployment.
- Provide post-go-live support and stabilization.

Integration & Reporting
- Support integrations with third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards.
- Ensure accurate data flow between Workday and other enterprise systems.

Stakeholder & Project Management
- Engage with business users and leadership teams.
- Provide implementation updates and project status reports.
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
