Workday Compensation Consultant for Financial Services Company with deep expertise in Compensation and Advanced Compensation configuration. This individual will partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements, design solutions, and develop proof-of-concept configurations within the company's Advanced Compensation environment to validate functionality and business fit.

In this role, you will:

Lead the analysis and design of automated merit increase enhancements within Workday Compensation Review (Advanced Compensation), delivering scalable solutions that align with business objectives and provide an intuitive, high-quality user experience.

Partner with stakeholders to document and communicate business processes, requirements, data flows, and user experiences through clear and effective artifacts.

Drive planning, coordination, configuration, and testing activities to support successful product delivery and implementation.

Create high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly define business needs and support Agile delivery teams.

Track work, dependencies, and progress within Jira and Agile delivery frameworks to ensure transparent and effective execution.

Mentor and influence team members by sharing expertise, providing guidance, and promoting best practices across the product team.

Required Qualifications





5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring Workday Compensation.

Strong expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation, including Compensation Review, merit planning, bonus planning, and compensation cycles.

Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional Workday solutions.

Robust understanding of Workday business processes, security, and compensation configuration.

Experience creating proof-of-concept (POC) solutions and validating business requirements.

Proficiency with Agile methodologies, including writing user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.

Experience using Jira for Agile project tracking and delivery.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large enterprise Workday implementations, preferably within the financial services industry.

Knowledge of Workday integrations, reporting, calculated fields, and business process framework.

Workday Compensation or Workday HCM certification.

Experience supporting end-to-end implementation, enhancement, or optimization projects.

Familiarity with change management and user training activities.
