Role Description The WordPress Developer Intern will work full time in a remote capacity, supporting the design, development, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites for WynSwell and its clients. Day-to-day tasks include building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins, implementing responsive layouts, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The intern will collaborate with senior developers and consultants to translate business requirements into functional web features, optimize site performance, and support SEO-friendly structures.





Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, performing regular updates and content changes, and maintaining clean, well-documented code aligned with best practices. The role offers exposure to real-world client projects and an opportunity to learn modern web development workflows in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Web Development skills, including familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem and general website architecture.
- Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience implementing Responsive Web Design.
- Candidates should possess Web Design skills, including basic UI/UX principles and the ability to create clean, user-friendly layouts.
- Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills relevant to WordPress, such as PHP basics, working with databases, and integrating APIs.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of version control (e.g., Git), an understanding of SEO best practices, robust problem-solving abilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
