Must-Have Skills

* Core VMware technologies with VxRail

- Windows
- ESXi, vCenter, vSAN
- Dell VxRail HCI
- VxRail deployment, expansion, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting
- Dell PowerEdge hardware, including drives, NICs, power supplies, DIMMs, iDRAC
- vSphere HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, EVC
- vSAN architecture, disk groups, storage policies, and stretched clustering
- VxRail Manager, VxRail LCM, VxRail HCI System Software
- vSphere networking, vSwitches, NIC teaming, VLAN tagging, jumbo frames, NIOC
- Troubleshooting using esxtop, vSAN health/performance services, ESXi/vCenter logs
- Dell Support Assist, ProSupport, and VMware log bundle collection

Key Responsibilities

* Design, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and VxRail environments.





- Manage VxRail cluster bring-up, node addition, expansion, scaling, and lifecycle upgrades.
- Manage Dell hardware replacement, iDRAC, firmware, networking, and hardware health.
- Troubleshoot complex performance, connectivity, hardware, HA, storage, and cluster issues.
- Handle L3 escalations and production incidents.
- Support DR strategies including SRM and RecoverPoint.
- Monitor environments using vRealize/Aria Operations or equivalent.
- Maintain runbooks, as-built documentation, and RCA reports.
- Collaborate with network, storage, and virtualization teams.
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers.

Preferred

* VMware certifications such as VCP-DCV / VCAP-DCV.

- Dell VxRail or PowerEdge certifications.
- 2-node/ROBO and stretched cluster experience.
- vSphere Tanzu / Kubernetes on VxRail.
- SmartFabric Services and Dell PowerSwitch.
- GPU/V-series nodes and NVIDIA vGPU.
- *SRM, RecoverPoint, and **vRealize/Aria Operations* experience.

Pay: Up to ₹3,500,000.00 per year
