Hiring: Welding Foreman / Welding Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Welding Foreman / Welding Supervisor to lead and supervise welding activities for heavy fabrication, structural steel, pressure vessels, piping, and modular construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and guide welders to achieve high-quality welds and production targets.
- Coordinate with Production and QC/Quality teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor and manage weld repair activities and ensure corrective actions.
- Conduct toolbox training for welders, helpers, and grinders.
- Interpret welding drawings, welding symbols, WPS and method statements.
- Ensure welding procedures and parameters are correctly followed through regular spot checks.
- Provide technical support for semi-automated and automated welding processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding defects and technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE and welding standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and stores for welding consumables, spare parts and materials.




- Maintain welding parameters, data sheets and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with QC for NDE/NDT and quality requirements.

Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW and GMAW/MIG welding.
- Knowledge of groove joints, fillet joints and weld overlay.
- Good understanding of ASME, AWS and EN ISO standards.
- Knowledge of WPS, PQR, welding drawings, welding symbols and NDE/NDT.
- Strong understanding of welding defects, inspection and repair techniques.
- Good leadership, team coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in heavy fabrication / structural steel / pressure vessel / piping / modular construction preferred.

Candidate Profile
- 8–25 years of relevant welding/fabrication experience.
- Minimum 5 years in supervisory/foreman-level responsibilities.
- ITI Welder / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Welding Technology or equivalent.
- Candidates with robust hands-on experience in industrial/heavy fabrication welding are preferred.
