Pavizham Group is hiring a Weighbridge Operator to handle vehicle weighing operations at our Perumbavoor facility. You will be responsible for accurately measuring gross and tare weights of incoming raw material trucks and outgoing dispatch vehicles using computerized weighbridge software.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computerized weighbridge system to weigh incoming trucks carrying raw material (paddy/grain) and outgoing dispatch vehicles.
- Verify weighment against purchase orders, delivery challans, gate passes, and invoice documents.
- Issue accurate weighment slips/tickets to truck drivers and maintain digital and physical registers.
- Coordinate with gate security, warehouse staff, and quality inspection teams to smooth truck movement.
- Inspect the weighbridge platform regularly for debris, zero-balance accuracy, and report calibration or technical issues.
- Maintain daily weight records and reconcile logs with the logistics/accounts department.
Requirements
- Education: ITI (Any Trade) / Plus Two / Diploma / Any Degree.
- Experience: 0 to 2 Years (Freshers welcome; on-the-job software training provided).
- Basic computer literacy (data entry, printing weighment slips, basic MS Excel/ERP entry).
- Good numerical accuracy, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
