We are looking for an experienced webMethods Upgrade & Integration Lead to join our Integration Practice team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in upgrading and administering IBM webMethods environments across versions, with the ability to independently execute upgrade tracks, mentor junior developers, and own production support for integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute webMethods platform upgrade and migration projects, owning one or more environment tracks end-to-end.
- Perform upgrade planning, impact analysis, environment assessment, and execution.
- Install, configure, and administer webMethods components including:
- Integration Server (IS)
- Universal Messaging (UM)
- My webMethods Server (MWS)
- Trading Networks (TN)
- API Gateway & Portal
- Broker to UM migrations
- Perform application compatibility assessments and remediation of packages, services, and adaptersduring upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve upgrade-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and deployment challenges.
- Tune IS, UM, and MWS configurations (JVM, thread pools, connection pools, clustering) for stability and performance.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, database, security, and application teams during upgrade activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, upgrade runbooks, rollback plans, and deployment procedures.




- Mentor and review the work of junior developers; enforce coding and deployment standards.
- Support production cutover activities and post-upgrade stabilization.

Required Skills

- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in IBM webMethods (versions 9.x / 10.x / 11.x).
- Proven experience in at least one full-cycle webMethods version upgrade (e.g. 9.x to 10.x or 10.x to 11.x).
- Strong expertise in Integration Server, Universal Messaging, MWS, Trading Networks, and API Gateway administration.
- Hands-on experience with Broker to UM migration, clustering, Terracotta, and wmDeployer / Asset Build Setting.
- Solid knowledge of SAP (RFC/BAPI/IDoc), JDBC adapters, B2B/EDI, and REST/SOAP integration patterns.
- Robust troubleshooting skills with IS server logs, thread dumps, and heap analysis.
- Working knowledge of Linux administration, SQL, and shell scripting.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead small teams onsite.

Good to Have

- Exposure to containerised webMethods deployments (Docker / Kubernetes) and cloud platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and automated regression testing for webMethods.
- Software AG / IBM webMethods certifications.
- Experience with webMethods.io or hybrid integration setups.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
