We are looking for experienced Web Research Task Authors to support an AI evaluation project focused on improving the research and reasoning capabilities of AI systems.

The role involves creating high-quality research tasks that test how effectively AI models can find, verify, and reason through information from reliable public sources.

What You’ll Do

- Create original research questions based on real-world topics
- Conduct detailed web research using multiple reliable sources
- Identify and validate supporting evidence with direct citations
- Design tasks that require logical reasoning and source verification
- Document research paths, supporting clues, and possible alternative answers
- Review and refine tasks based on quality feedback

Research Areas Candidates with expertise in areas such as the following are preferred:

- History
- Science & Technology
- Sports
- Music
- Politics
- Geography




- Film & Television

Experience with OSINT, archives, catalogues, or research databases is an advantage.

Requirements

- 3+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree
- Solid background in research-based work such as:

- Journalism
- Fact-checking

- Library/archival research

- Genealogy

- Due diligence

- Academic research
- Citation-focused editing
- Advanced web research skills and ability to evaluate sources
- Strong written English communication skills
- Ability to distinguish reliable sources and extract accurate information
- Comfortable using search engines and AI tools while verifying information independently
