About the Role

We are looking for a versatile WordPress, Shopify & Web Developer who can develop, customise, maintain, and optimise websites and e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have valuable coding skills and experience working with WordPress, Shopify, themes, plugins, integrations, and website performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and customise WordPress and Shopify websites.
- Build responsive and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Customise WordPress themes, plugins, Shopify themes, and apps.
- Develop and modify website features based on business requirements.
- Create and manage e-commerce websites, product pages, forms, landing pages, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot website errors, bugs, and technical issues.
- Optimise websites for speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
- Manage website updates, backups, security, domains, hosting, and basic cPanel operations.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, payment gateways, forms, analytics, and other required services.
- Implement basic on-page SEO and technical SEO best practices.
- Coordinate with designers, content, SEO,



and marketing teams for website requirements.
- Monitor website performance and recommend technical improvements.

Technical Skills Required

- Good knowledge of WordPress and Shopify.
- Good command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, and customisation.
- Experience with Shopify themes, Liquid, apps, and store customisation.
- Understanding of databases and basic MySQL.
- Knowledge of website hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, and cPanel.
- Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Knowledge of Git/version control will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience in WordPress, Shopify, web development, or a similar role.

Added Advantage

Experience with WooCommerce, custom website development, payment gateway integration, website migration, speed optimisation, and e-commerce development will be preferred.
