Role Description The Web Art Director is a part-time remote role responsible for leading the visual direction of Akums’ digital presence. This role involves developing and overseeing web design concepts, ensuring brand consistency across websites, landing pages, and online campaigns. Daily tasks include creating and refining visual layouts, collaborating with marketing and content teams, and guiding designers on art direction and motion design elements.

Director will review graphics and interactive components, provide feedback to enhance user experience,



and ensure all web assets meet quality, accessibility, and performance standards. The role also includes staying updated on design trends and recommending improvements to digital brand expression.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Creative Direction and Art Direction skills to define and maintain a cohesive digital visual identity.
- Candidates should possess solid Web Design expertise and Graphics capabilities for designing responsive, user-centered web interfaces.
- Candidates should possess Motion Design skills to create or oversee engaging animations and interactive elements for digital platforms.
- Candidates should possess experience working with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or equivalents) and basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, responsive frameworks).
- Candidates should possess strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams in a remote setting, along with excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Relevant education in design, visual communication, or a related field, and prior experience as an art director, web designer, or similar role in a digital or healthcare-related workplace are beneficial.
