JD Warehouse Transformation Specialist

Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our warehouse modernization and transformation initiatives. This role will drive strategic improvements across warehouse operations by leveraging advanced Warehouse Automation Systems, IOT / RFID / Vision technologies, and supply chain analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management operations, digital transformation, and inventory optimization.

- 8-12 years of Experience in Warehouse Management and Operations – Strong Focus on Warehouse Automation and Transformation, and Inventory Management preferably in Automotive, Industrial, Aero Industries

- Strong experience in WMS systems,

- Strong Exposure to Warehouse robotics, material movement and management, RFID and IOT technologies

- Strong understanding of business from supply chain perspective – planning, inventory balancing, Respond to Supply Chain Disruptions, and Manage Stakeholders across Business Functions

- Exposure to Global Environment and capability to manage stakeholders across different parts of the world

- Own Supply Chain KPI Targets for markets and business functions assigned to the warehouse planner and achieve the minimum threshold consistently

- Identify the opportunities for business improvement and work with stakeholders for improvements in business/system process(es) execution

- Publishes the reports, presentations and dashboards for business users and respond to ad hoc requests in a time bound manner

- Participate in Warehouse improvement / upgradation / automation projects and take ownership of the tasks/scope assigned for successful execution

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the roadmap for warehouse modernization aligned with business goals and supply chain strategy.

- Digital Transformation:



Execute warehouse modernization and transformation solutions like automation solutions including AGVs, AMRs, RFID, and vision analytics.

- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and design future-state processes using digital twin simulations, layout optimization, and predictive analytics.

- Inventory & Space Management: Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, picking efficiency, and space utilization through data-driven insights.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration and change management.

- Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and dashboards to track operational improvements, ROI, and transformation milestones.

- Team Enablement: Mentor and guide warehouse teams through digital adoption, training, and process changes.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field (MBA pref)

- 8-12 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain transformation, or logistics technology.

- Proven track record of leading WMS implementations and warehouse automation projects (implementation of warehouse robotics).

- Strong understanding of inventory control, space planning, and labor optimization.

- Experience with simulation tools, digital twin platforms, and real-time control towers is a plus.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.

Mandatory Skills

- Warehouse management, Warehouse Operations, WMS (BY, SAP EWM, Manhattan) – as user

- Warehouse Upgradation / Automation project implementation

- Solid Experience in warehouse automation and transformation

- Experience with RFID, barcode scanning, and IoT-based warehouse technologies.

- Problem Solving and Stakeholder Management in Global Environment

- Industry Knowledge preferably from Automotive, Spares, Industrial/Aero
