- Handle day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Supervise warehouse/refilling staff and allocate daily work.
- Manage inward and outward stock.
- Maintain daily stock/inventory records.
- Monitor FMCG products, packaging material and vending-machine refill stock.
- Check quantity and condition of material received and dispatched.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Prepare daily stock and dispatch reports.
- Coordinate with drivers, refill staff and management.
- Track shortages, damages, wastage and stock discrepancies.
- Ensure proper warehouse cleanliness, safety and discipline.
- Maintain attendance and daily manpower records.
- Ensure timely dispatch of material to different locations.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
For FMCG warehousing specifically, inventory control, picking/packing, labelling, storage and safety are standard supervisor responsibilities.
Candidate profile
Must have:
- 2+ years of warehouse/store supervision experience.
- FMCG, distribution, retail, logistics or similar experience preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of stock handling and inventory management.
- Ability to manage workers.
- Basic Excel/computer knowledge.
- Good communication in Punjabi/Hindi; basic English.
- Responsible and disciplined.
- Comfortable working on the warehouse floor.
