Role Purpose To ensure effective and compliant warehouse operations by managing equipment, inventory, fuel, quality parameters, manpower, and safety practices across the Biomass Bank. The role is responsible for maximizing asset utilization, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring quality compliance, and supporting seamless aggregation and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Equipment Lifecycle & Asset Management
- Maintain and update equipment records on the operational platform.
- Manage equipment onboarding, transfers, and status updates.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and ensure timely restoration of assets.
- Monitor equipment utilization, uptime, and productivity.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking and documentation.
1. Equipment Deployment Management
- Conduct daily equipment check-in and check-out activities.
- Ensure equipment availability as per operational requirements.
- Monitor deployment schedules and equipment usage.
- Identify and escalate equipment shortages, breakdowns, or operational risks.
- Support efficient allocation of assets across warehouse activities.
1. Fuel & Inventory Management
- Manage fuel dispensing and reconciliation through designated systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all biomass products.
- Perform regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Coordinate inward and outward material movements.
- Schedule product deliveries and optimize logistics for cost efficiency.
- Ensure accurate stock reporting and inventory controls.
1. Warehouse Operations & SOP Compliance
- Ensure warehouse operations are conducted as per approved SOPs.
- Monitor material stacking and storage practices as per defined layouts.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and readiness checks.
- Maintain spare inventory and raise requisitions for consumables and repairs.
- Ensure implementation of visual management standards.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
1. Quality Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor and record biomass moisture and temperature parameters.
- Ensure quality checks are conducted as per prescribed standards.
- Upload and maintain quality records on operational systems.
- Support quality compliance during material aggregation and dispatch.
- Escalate quality deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
1. Manpower & Attendance Management
- Maintain daily attendance records for contract manpower.
- Ensure adequate workforce availability to meet operational requirements.
- Coordinate with manpower vendors regarding attendance and deployment issues.
- Support workforce productivity and discipline within the warehouse.
1. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safety signages, PPE, and safety kits are available and maintained.
- Promote adherence to warehouse safety protocols.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards.
- Support compliance with organizational safety and operational standards.
Freshers from Agriculture background can apply. Marathi, Hindi, and English preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
