We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to manage material and inventory at our civil construction site in Mira Road. Candidates with prior experience in construction site stores will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inward and outward movement of construction materials.
- Maintain accurate stock and inventory records.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store materials.
- Issue materials to site workers as per requirements.
- Maintain records of cement, steel, tools, hardware, and other construction materials.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the site team about material requirements.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Site Teams for material availability.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Maintain GRN, material issue slips, stock registers, and other documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and safety of materials at the construction site.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Storekeeper in Civil Construction is preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and site-store operations.
- Knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Basic computer knowledge and MS Excel preferred.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently at a construction site.
