We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Wallpaper Installer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing wall surfaces and installing wallpapers with proper alignment, finishing, and attention to detail. Wallpaper installation requires accurate measurement, surface preparation, cutting, adhesive application, and pattern matching.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure walls and calculate the required wallpaper quantity.
- Prepare and smooth wall surfaces before installation.
- Remove old wallpaper or damaged wall coverings when required.
- Cut wallpaper accurately according to wall measurements and patterns.
- Apply adhesive/glue properly.
- Install wallpaper with correct alignment and pattern matching.
- Ensure a smooth finish without wrinkles, bubbles, or visible gaps.
- Trim wallpaper neatly around corners, windows, doors, and fixtures.
- Check completed work for quality and neatness.
- Maintain installation tools and equipment.
- Keep the work area clean and secure..
Requirements
- Previous experience in wallpaper installation or interior finishing is preferred.
- Knowledge of wallpaper materials, adhesives, and installation techniques.
- Good measurement and cutting skills.
- Attention to detail and neat finishing.
- Physically fit and willing to work at different project locations.
- Ability to work on ladders and at different heights when required.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Candidates with painting/interior finishing experience may also be considered.
