Role & responsibilities ob Purpose

As a Web Architect, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and governing the end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise web platforms using Optimizely (Episerver) CMS/Commerce, a Vue.js frontend, and a .NET Core backend. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical executionarchitecting decoupled/headless content solutions, leading development teams, ensuring security and performance, and driving digital experience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & System Design:

- Design scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise web architectures using Optimizely (CMS v12+ / PaaS / SaaS), .NET Core / C#, and Vue.js (Vue 3 / Nuxt.js).
- Lead the transition toward Headless / Decoupled Content Delivery and composable Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) via RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

1. Technical Leadership & Governance:

- Establish architectural blueprints, code quality standards, component design libraries, and technical governance models across full-stack development teams.
- Perform high-level code reviews, component design approvals, and performance profiling across both backend (.NET) and frontend (Vue.js) layers.

1. Frontend & Experience Engineering:

- Architect modern, high-performance user interfaces utilizing Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, and Vue Router, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, web accessibility (WCAG), and SEO optimization.
- Design reusable component architectures that seamlessly integrate with Optimizely's content delivery APIs.

1. Backend & CMS Engineering:

- Design robust .NET Core / C# microservices, background processing jobs, content schemas, and page/block structures within Optimizely.
- Implement custom Optimizely plugins, scheduled jobs, workflow extensions,



and search integrations (Optimizely Graph / Search & Navigation).

1. Integration & Cloud Infrastructure:

- Architect third-party integrations with CRM, ERP, DAM, PIM, Payment Gateways, and Analytics platforms.
- Oversee application deployment strategies on Azure App Services, Optimizely DXP (Azure PaaS), and configure automated CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).

1. Stakeholder Engagement & Problem Solving:

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and UX/UI Designers to convert business requirements into actionable technical roadmap decisions.
- Identify technical risks, evaluate performance bottlenecks, and resolve complex security, caching, or scalability challenges.

Required Profile (Essential Skills & Experience)

- Core Experience: 10+ years of full-stack web engineering experience, with 3+ years operating in an Architecture / Technical Lead role.
- Optimizely Expertise: Proven experience architecting solutions on Optimizely CMS / Episerver (preferably v12+ on .NET Core) and familiarity with Optimizely DXP deployment models.
- Backend Proficiency: Deep hands-on mastery of C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, and cloud-native microservice architecture.
- Frontend Mastery: Solid proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js (Vue 2/3, Vuex/Pinia, SSR with Nuxt.js).
- Integrations & APIs: Proven track record in API-first design using REST, GraphQL, and asynchronous messaging/queues.
- Cloud & DevOps: Direct experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and CDN/Caching configurations (Cloudflare/Akamai).
- Database & Data Modeling: Expert knowledge of SQL Server, database indexing, caching strategies (Redis), and data architecture for high-traffic sites.
