Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day transport operations, including drivers and vehicles.
- Plan and monitor vehicle maintenance, repairs, mileage, movement, and consumables.
- Ensure all statutory requirements such as insurance, tax, permits, and FC are up to date.
- Monitor driver grooming, uniform, attendance, breaks, and discipline.
- Act as the first point of contact for drivers and conduct daily vehicle checks.
- Coordinate patient and staff transportation, including airport/railway pickups and drops.
- Manage internal patient shifting between hospital buildings.
- Conduct surprise checks on vehicles and drivers to ensure compliance.
- Follow up on feedback and implement necessary corrective actions.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate with relevant experience in transport/fleet operations.
- Experience in managing drivers and vehicle maintenance.
- Positive communication, coordination, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle documentation, permits, insurance, tax, and FC.
- Ability to handle patient transportation and emergency requirements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously update knowledge and skills.
