We are looking for a Trainee Executive – Manning Department to join our Ship Management team. This position is specifically intended for fresh graduates/freshers who are interested in building a career in the maritime crew management and ship-management industry.
The selected candidate will receive practical exposure to various aspects of crew/manning operations, documentation and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Manning Department in day-to-day crew management activities.
- Coordinate with seafarers regarding joining, relieving, documentation and travel arrangements.
- Assist in maintaining and updating crew records and databases.
- Coordinate with vessels, ship staff, agents and internal departments.
- Assist with crew documentation, certificates, medicals, visas and other statutory requirements.
- Follow up with seafarers for pending documents and requirements.
- Assist in crew planning and scheduling as instructed by the Manning team.
- Maintain proper records and filing of crew-related documents.
- Communicate professionally with seafarers and various stakeholders.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Manning Department.
- Learn and follow company procedures, maritime regulations and crew-management practices.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with a maritime / shipping / logistics-related educational background will be preferred.
- Freshers are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
- Willingness to learn and work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple people and handle follow-ups systematically.
