JOB PURPOSE The Executive in Treasury Operations is responsible for managing end-to-end Bank Reconciliation Statements

(BRS), online collections, digital payment gateway settlements, and supporting corporate treasury operations. This role ensures complete accuracy of cash flows from customer channels to bank accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)

Perform daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) across multiple operating and collection bank accounts.

Identify, investigate, and resolve cash book vs. bank statement discrepancies, unidentified credits, and un-cleared checks/transfers.

Prepare journal entries for bank charges, interest income, borrowing costs, and miscellaneous transactions.

Ensure strict adherence to internal controls and compliance guidelines.

2. Online Collection & Settlement Reconciliation

Manage end-to-end daily reconciliations for online payment collection channels (Payment Gateways, UPI, Wallets,

Credit/Debit cards, Net Banking, and Auto-debit arrangements).

Reconcile subscriber billing systems (BSS/OSS) against gateway settlement files and actual bank deposits to catch drop-offs or system failures.

Coordinate with payment aggregator partners (e.g., Bill Desk, PayU, Paytm, Banks) to resolve transaction disputes,

chargebacks, refund requests, and failed transactions.

Monitor and track Merchant Discount Rates (MDR), gateway fee deductions, and ensure settlements happen within agreed SLAs (e.g., T+1, T+2).

3. Treasury, Investment & Borrowing Management

Assist in monitoring daily cash positions and preparing rolling short-term cash flow forecasts.

Investment Operations: Help execute short-term surplus cash investments (e.g., Money Market Instruments,

Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposits, Commercial Papers) to maximize yield while preserving liquidity.

4. Borrowing Operations:



Support the execution and tracking of short-term borrowing facilities (Working Capital

Loans, Commercial Papers, Bank Overdrafts, and Revolving Credit Facilities).

Calculate and track borrowing interest costs, maturity schedules, and investment yields.

Ensure compliance with loan covenants, banking terms, and corporate treasury policies.

5. Process Automation & MIS Reporting

Prepare monthly MIS reports highlighting outstanding BRS open items, payment gateway fee trends, and liquidity summaries for leadership.

Partner with IT and finance transformation teams to improve automated reconciliation tools and reduce manual intervention in high-volume processing.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

BRS & Settlement Realization: Zero un-reconciled items over 10 days in BRS and payment gateway settlements.

SLA Compliance: 100% SLA adherence for settlement realization from digital payment aggregators.

Treasury Execution: Timely execution of debt servicing (interest/principal repayments) and investment maturity roll-overs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting,

Finance, Commerce, Economics OR MBA in

Finance.

Experience: 2-4 years in Bank reconciliations,

Online Collection & Settlement Reconciliation, and treasury operations.

Domain Preference: Experience in Telecom, E

commerce, or ISP sectors handling high-volume online transactions is strongly preferred.

Technical & Functional Skills

ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems like

SAP or Oracle.

Advanced Excel: Advanced knowledge of MS

Office, specifically MS Excel.

Banking Portals: Hands-on experience with corporate internet banking portals (CMS/host-to

host systems) and payment gateway dashboards.

Treasury Concepts: Robust understanding of yields, interest calculations, short-term debt instruments, and working capital dynamics.

Soft Skills: High analytical acumen, detail

oriented, with strong communication and vendor management skills
