Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Head to lead and manage the complete procurement function of Aspire Textiles LLP. The candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, price negotiation, timely material availability, cost optimization, and purchase team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the complete Purchase & Procurement function.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing and procurement strategies.
- Source and procure textile machinery spares, consumables, packing materials, chemicals, electrical items, engineering materials and other operational requirements.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and alternate sources.
- Obtain quotations, compare commercial terms and negotiate price, quality, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely availability of materials without affecting production.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Stores, Accounts, PPC and Management.
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely supplier follow-up and deliveries.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and control excess/slow-moving materials.




- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct vendor evaluation and monitor supplier performance on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
- Handle vendor issues, quality complaints, shortages and delayed deliveries.
- Ensure proper documentation of PR, RFQ, quotation comparison, PO, invoices and vendor records.
- Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present Purchase MIS, cost-saving reports and vendor performance reports to management.
- Lead, guide and develop the Purchase team.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
