TEAM MEMBER DECORATION

Job Title: Team Member Decoration

Reports to: HOD Decoration.

:

Possess skill in baking high quality treats, should be matched by your creativity to develop amazing new tastes and recipes.

A Cake decorator requires a person who has creativity and a keen eye for detail.

Design and decorate a variety of cakes by preparing icing and other ingredients and overseeing the overall operations of the decoration department.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Creating and designing cakes based on decoration slips with proper details.

Decorating regular bakery items according to established Labonel high standards.

Assisting baking staff with the production of standard bakery items.

Check the quality of ingredients before using and ensure that the standards are met.

Maintain good knowledge of equipment and know how to operate them.

Producing different kinds of icing, frosting, and cake fillings based on cake type and customer preferences.





Ensure the message on the cake is written correctly before it goes on the counter.

Cleaning and sanitizing all work areas as well as baking and decorating equipment.

Prepare a wide variety of products such as cakes, cupcakes etc. following traditional and modern recipes.

Decorate cakes using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation is beautiful and exciting.

Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and adhere to health and safety standards.

Check the ingredient requirement for the next day.

Guide new recruits on decoration techniques and procedures

Wear proper uniform at all times and follow positive personal hygiene standards

Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.

To undertake related training sessions by the HOD.

Maintain all training records.
