:
- Design Mechanical Components, systems, products using CAD Softwares like SolidWorks and Unigraphics (UG-NX).
- Create detailed technical drawings, specifications and 3D Models.
- Develop electrical schematics (2D) and cable routing (3D) (Preferred MS Visio and SolidWorks)
- Conduct feasibility studies including material selections, cost estimation etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with project requirements
Preferred candidate profile
Essential Skills:
- Valuable engineering fundamental knowledge
- Valuable knowledge on drawing Standards (ISO, ANSI/ASME)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience on SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Unigraphics (UG-NX).
- Hands on experience on Sheet metal & Plastic design.
- Good knowledge on any PLM, preferably Teamcenter.
- Product development and engineering change management process knowledge.
- Capability to understand/ apply GD&T; and Tolerance Stack-up analysis
- Able to work on global product development projects independently.
- Able to manage his/her deliverables and clearly communicate with client
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
Desirable Skillset:
- Knowledge on various manufacturing processes like injection molding, sheetmetal stamping, castings, and forgings.
- Experience in design/development of Plastic and sheetmetal components
