Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for VP Operations, GM Operations, and Assistant GM Operations, with compensation ranges of ₹1.25 Cr PA, ₹75 LPA, and ₹50 LPA respectively, depending on level and experience. The role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations in pharma tooling, machinery, and equipment, ensuring efficient production, supply chain reliability, and adherence to quality and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day activities include managing operational teams, optimizing processes, monitoring performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and related functions.

The position also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, aligning operations with strategic business goals, and supporting customer-centric service delivery.



The leader will use engineering expertise and SAP systems to streamline workflows, enhance visibility, and maintain cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

- Strong Operations Management and Project Management skills to oversee manufacturing, tooling, equipment workflows, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency in P&L; Management and Strategic Planning to manage budgets, drive profitability, and align operations with long-term business objectives.
- Experience in Customer Service and stakeholder management to ensure high service standards and effective communication with internal and external partners.
- Engineering background (mechanical, industrial, or related discipline) with mandatory hands-on experience in pharma tooling, machinery, and equipment.
- Advanced SAP skills for production planning, inventory management, and operational reporting.
- Proven leadership experience in operations roles, preferably in pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to mentor teams and foster a team-oriented work culture.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance, quality standards, and safety practices relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; additional management qualifications (e.g., MBA, PGDM) are an advantage.
