About The Role

We are seeking an exceptionally credentialed Vice President - Public Policy &

- Government Affairs to spearhead our strategic advocacy efforts, shaping forward-looking regulatory frameworks for the Web3 and crypto industry across India and global markets.

Reporting directly to the Chief Public Policy Officer, you will lead a dedicated team of policy professionals and work closely with the executive management team. You will design and execute 360-degree policy strategies, drive public-facing advocacy, build strategic alliances, and serve as a crucial liaison between CoinDCX and regulatory bodies, government entities, and industry associations.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Advocacy &
- Public Policy:
- Policy Strategy Formulation: Develop and execute proactive, high-impact policy advocacy strategies to support the sustainable growth of the Web3 and digital asset ecosystem in India and internationally.
- 360-Degree Advocacy Plans: Collaborate with the Chief Public Policy Officer and executive leadership to align policy research, external representations, and internal business objectives.
- Public Policy Communications: Lead the strategy for public-facing policy artifacts—including white papers, official representations, research reports, and opinion pieces—working alongside Legal, Compliance, PR, Marketing, and external vendors.
- Policy Intelligence: Continuously monitor, analyze, and forecast regulatory trends and policy developments, delivering actionable guidance on potential risks and proactive engagement opportunities.

- Regulatory Relations: Cultivate and sustain deep, trusted relationships with key government officials, financial regulators, law enforcement agencies, academia, and civil society.
- Industry Leadership: Represent CoinDCX in global and regional Web3, fintech, and trade associations to drive collaborative industry alignment and self-regulatory initiatives.

Serve as a primary spokesperson for the company at high-level industry forums, roundtables, and policy summits.
- Cross-Functional Advisory &
- Team Leadership:
- Internal Strategic Counsel: Provide clear, business-enabling regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams—including Legal, Compliance, Product, and Engineering—on emerging legislative requirements.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of government affairs and policy professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Key Requirements

- Experience: 12+ years of progressive leadership in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory strategy, ideally within the technology, fintech, or digital asset sectors.
- Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of the Indian regulatory ecosystem, parliamentary processes, financial regulatory bodies, and law enforcement frameworks, combined with global regulatory exposure (e.g., UAE, Bahrain, international markets).
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in conceptualizing and delivering impactful policy advocacy campaigns that yielded tangible regulatory or industry outcomes.
- Stakeholder Network: Proven experience building high-trust relationships across government entities, regulatory authorities, trade bodies, and policy think tanks.
- Leadership Skills: Proven capacity to manage, mentor, and scale team members while coordinating effectively across internal business units.
- Communication: Outstanding oral, written, and narrative-building skills, with the ability to translate complex technical/financial Web3 concepts into compelling policy positions.
- Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Public Policy, Law, Economics, International Relations, or a related field preferred.
