startelelogic is an AI-powered Omnichannel Customer Experience (CX) platform helping businesses deliver connected interactions across voice, chat, messaging, and digital channels. We’re looking for a VoIP Engineer to join our telecom engineering team and work on SIP-based communication, call routing, and real-time voice infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals with solid VoIP fundamentals who enjoy troubleshooting communication systems and building reliable voice solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. VoIP & SIP Engineering

- Manage SIP and VoIP call flows.
- Configure and troubleshoot FreeSWITCH and/or Kamailio.
- Work with SIP routing and call signaling.
- Configure SIP trunks and voice gateways.
- Troubleshoot RTP, DTMF,



codecs, and NAT-related issues.

2. Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Analyze SIP traffic and call quality issues.
- Use sngrep, tcpdump, and Wireshark for troubleshooting.
- Monitor voice infrastructure and identify connectivity issues.
- Diagnose and resolve call routing and signaling problems.
- Support reliable real-time voice communication.

3. Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SIP and VoIP.
- Hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH and/or Kamailio.
- Knowledge of SIP troubleshooting and routing.
- Understanding of RTP, DTMF, codecs, and NAT.
- Familiarity with SIP trunks and gateways.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, Lua, Perl, or Golang.
- Experience with Linux-based environments.

4. Education
- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.
- Fresh engineering graduates with strong VoIP/SIP fundamentals and relevant projects may also be considered.
