About Khet
Khet is an experimental Indian fragrance brand. We make perfumes that smell like the India we actually grew up in: the tang of raw mango, the warmth of chai with a splash of rum, the sea air of Kala Pani. Our lineup includes Tota Keri, Chai & Rum, Kala Pani, Snake Charmer and Santri, each built around a story, a memory or a place.
We believe Indian culture deserves to be told with taste, wit and confidence, not nostalgia on autopilot. That shows up in everything we put out, from the bottle to the ad you scroll past on Instagram.
About the role
You'll design the visuals people meet Khet through, on Meta and across marketplaces. We don't do generic "buy now" content. Khet speaks to a niche audience looking for something like us, and your work needs to find them, stop them mid-scroll and make the click feel inevitable.
You'll work under our Creative Design Director, but this isn't a follow-the-brief role. We want you to absorb the thinking behind every direction, build your own taste, and grow into someone who brings ideas to the table.
You'll report to the Growth lead and join a high-pace team with a median age of 21, where your work is judged by how it looks and how it performs.
What you'll do
- Design statics and carousels for Meta ads, iterating quickly based on performance
- Create marketplace creatives: product catalog images, A+ content and brand store pages
- Translate creative direction into polished, on-brand output, quick and consistently
- Adapt one idea across formats, sizes and platforms without losing its soul
- Contribute your own ideas, references and suggestions as you grow into the role
- Work within a structured creative process, with timelines, feedback loops and version control
Who you are
- Trained or semi-trained in design, and we'll give you ample room to learn and grow fast
- You have taste, and can tell the difference between something that looks nice and something that feels right
- Hungry to grow, and want your role in a year to look very different from day one
- Genuinely talented, with a portfolio that shows range, craft and attention to detail
- Comfortable taking direction and equally comfortable questioning it respectfully
- You enjoy process and don't see structure as a creativity killer
- Curious about why one creative gets the click and another doesn't
Good to have
- Experience designing for D2C brands, Meta ads or marketplaces like Amazon or Nykaa
- Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator; basic motion skills are a bonus
- An interest in Indian culture, craft, fragrance or beauty
