About the Role

Makesense Advertising is looking for a creative and skilled Videographer who can conceptualise, shoot, and create engaging video content for brands across social media, advertising campaigns, and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a strong visual sense, knowledge of camera equipment and lighting, and the ability to translate creative ideas into compelling video content.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute video shoots for brands, campaigns, social media, advertisements, events, and digital content.
- Handle professional cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, and other production equipment.
- Work closely with the Creative, Content, and Digital teams to understand concepts and shooting requirements.
- Frame and compose shots creatively according to the brand and campaign requirements.
- Shoot Reels, product videos, interviews, lifestyle content, testimonials, behind-the-scenes content, and promotional videos.
- Assist in planning shot lists, locations, lighting setups, and overall production requirements.
- Ensure good-quality visuals, lighting, composition, and audio during shoots.
- Adapt shooting styles according to different brands, platforms, and content requirements.
- Coordinate with talent, presenters, influencers, and production teams during shoots.




- Organise and manage raw footage and ensure proper file storage and handover.
- Stay updated with current video trends, social media formats, cinematography techniques, and visual styles.
- Travel for shoots and work on-location whenever required.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in videography, filmmaking, advertising, content production, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Positive understanding of cinematography, framing, composition, camera movement, and lighting.
- Experience in shooting content specifically for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar is an advantage.
- Good visual sense and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and execute concepts effectively.
- Positive communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for shoots when required.
