Role Description: This is an on-site videographer role based in Erode, offered on a contract basis. The videographer will capture high-quality video content for political campaigns, public events, interviews, and field research activities, ensuring visual materials support strategic communication goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning shoots, operating cameras and related equipment, managing lighting setups, and recording footage in diverse locations and conditions.





The role also involves collaborating with campaign strategists and communication teams to understand messaging requirements, framing shots accordingly, and ensuring footage aligns with the overall narrative. The videographer may assist with basic editing, organizing media files, and maintaining equipment to ensure reliability and readiness for rapid deployment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in video production and shooting video for campaigns, events, and field-based content.
- Candidates should be proficient in camera operation and handling different types of camera equipment in varied environments.
- Candidates should have practical knowledge of lighting and its application in indoor, outdoor, and live event setups.
- Ability to collaborate with political strategists and communication teams, translating messaging goals into effective visual storytelling.
- Experience working in fast-paced, on-the-ground political or media environments is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in managing equipment, and readiness to travel locally for shoots as needed.
