Our content spans long-form podcast episodes, short-form founder insights, brand and culture commentary, and editorial storytelling across YouTube and Instagram.

We’re looking for a full-time Video Editor to take ownership of post-production across our long-form and short-form video content.

We’re looking for someone who understands that good editing goes beyond clean cuts. You should have a strong visual instinct, a sense of pacing and storytelling, and ideally a distinct editing language of your own that can evolve with the identity of The Yellow Window.

This is a work-from-home role, Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Work On

- Edit podcast episodes end-to-end, including multicam footage, audio syncing, pacing, transitions, graphics and final exports
- Edit Instagram Reels and other short-form social content
- Edit YouTube Shorts
- Edit short-form YouTube videos beyond podcast excerpts
- Identify strong moments, hooks and story beats from long-form footage that can be repurposed into short-form content
- Add subtitles, text treatments, graphics, music and other visual elements where required
- Develop and maintain a distinct visual language for The Yellow Window across formats
- Ensure edits feel consistent with the tone and positioning of the brand while continuously experimenting with current formats and editing styles
- Organise and manage raw footage, project files, audio, exports and other production assets




- Maintain a clear file-management and archival system
- Incorporate feedback and revisions while maintaining agreed timelines
- Prepare content in the correct specifications for Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms
- Stay aware of evolving editing styles, short-form formats and platform trends without blindly following them

Who We’re Looking For

- 1–2 years of professional video-editing experience
- Strong understanding of both long-form storytelling and short-form, attention-led editing
- A good eye for composition, typography, pacing and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from raw footage to final output
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with subtitles, audio, continuity and exports
- Ability to manage multiple pieces of content and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
- Genuine interest in podcasts, storytelling, brands, entrepreneurship, design and culture is a plus

Technical Requirements

- Must own a laptop capable of professional video editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge of After Effects, motion graphics, Photoshop or similar tools is a plus
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Comfortable handling and transferring large video files
