About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor cum Videographer who can handle both sides of video production — shooting and editing.The ideal candidate should understand how a good video is actually shot, including camera angles, framing, composition, lighting, shot selection and camera positioning, while also having strong hands-on video editing skills. The role will involve shooting and editing content such as podcasts, interviews, reels, promotional videos, internal communication videos and other brand content.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute video shoots based on the content requirement.
- Handle camera setup, framing, angles and shot composition during shoots.
- Understand different shot types, camera movements and framing techniques.
- Set up and shoot podcasts, interviews, talking-head videos and other video content.
- Coordinate basic requirements related to lighting, audio and shooting setup.
- Review raw footage and select appropriate clips for editing.
- Edit videos for social media, marketing, internal communication and other business requirements.
- Create engaging short-form videos, reels and promotional content.
- Add transitions, text, subtitles, music, sound effects and other relevant elements.
- Ensure proper pacing, sequencing and overall visual quality of the final video.
- Resize and adapt videos for different platforms and formats.




- Make revisions based on feedback and handle multiple iterations when required.
- Work on urgent and last-minute video requirements while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain and organise raw footage, project files and final video assets.
- Work closely with the Brand & Marketing team to understand briefs and deliver content accordingly.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on knowledge of videography and video editing.
- Valuable understanding of camera angles, framing, composition and shot selection.
- Understanding of podcast and interview shoot setups.
- Proficiency in any professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar .
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects for simple motion graphics, text animation and transitions.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for thumbnails, image editing and supporting visual assets.
- Familiarity with AI tools used for video editing, content creation, subtitles, background removal, ideation or workflow enhancement.
- Basic understanding of audio recording and lighting.
- Good sense of visual storytelling and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand a brief and independently execute the required shoot/edit.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle last-minute requirements.

Qualification Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mass Communication, Film & Television, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Photography, Film Production, or a relevant field is preferred.

Candidates with relevant practical experience and a robust portfolio/showreel may also be considered.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must share a portfolio/showreel demonstrating their video shooting and editing capabilities.

Preferred: Candidates who have experience creating podcasts, interviews, reels, social media videos or branded content.
