Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Video Editor at Vihara.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing video content that explains Vihara’s products, showcases platform features, and supports marketing and client education initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include assembling footage, refining narrative flow, adding transitions and effects, color grading, and integrating motion graphics and static graphics to align with brand guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to interpret briefs, maintain consistent visual style, prepare videos for multiple platforms,



and manage file organization and version control.

The Video

Editor will continuously optimize content for clarity, engagement, and professional quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to ensure consistent and polished visuals.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills for titles, overlays, and brand elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Experience creating short-form and long-form video content for digital platforms (web, social media, presentations) is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines are expected.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is required.
- Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial.
