Company Description Scaler is a Bengaluru-based ed-tech company founded in 2019 by Anshuman Singh and Abhimanyu Saxena. It provides advanced online upskilling programs for software engineers, data scientists, and other tech professionals, aiming to bridge the gap between theoretical university education and practical industry demands.

The platform's educational model is built on three pillars:

- Industry-aligned curriculum: Project-based learning covering modern software development, data science, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing.
- 1:1 Mentorship: Personalized career guidance, code reviews, and mock interviews conducted by tech veterans from organizations like Google, Amazon, and Meta.
- Live online classes: Interactive, cohort-based sessions rather than exclusively pre-recorded videos.

Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Bengaluru.

The Video

Editor will work closely with content and marketing teams to edit and produce high-quality video assets for social media, marketing campaigns, and community initiatives.

Responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting key clips, applying transitions and motion graphics, balancing audio, color correcting, and ensuring brand-consistent visual storytelling. The role involves creating multiple video formats (short-form, long-form, promotional, tutorials, Reels),



preparing versions optimized for different platforms, and maintaining an efficient file management and revision workflow.

The Video

Editor will also collaborate in pre-production planning, contribute creative ideas, and align deliverables with timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Da-Vinci).
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) to enhance video experience and make it look trendy.
- Proficiency in audio editing, sound design, and basic mixing to ensure clear, engaging experiences.
- Knowledge of color correction, grading, and visual consistency for multi-platform video output.
- Understanding of digital content formats and platform requirements for YouTube, social media, and web-based learning environments.
- Ability to interpret briefs, follow brand guidelines, and craft compelling narratives from technical and educational material.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally with all the teams.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and capacity to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Relevant academic background in Media, Film, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
