We are looking for a creative and motivated Video Editor with 6 months to 1 year of professional experience who can turn raw footage into engaging, professional, and eye-catching videos.
The ideal candidate should have good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects and be comfortable editing talking-head videos, YouTube videos, B-roll, Reels, Shorts, and promotional content.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has a valuable creative eye, and understands how to make videos engaging and attention-grabbing.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit YouTube videos and talking-head videos
- Create engaging edits using B-roll, transitions, sound effects, music, and text animations
- Add captions, subtitles, graphics, and basic motion graphics
- Create strong and engaging video openings/hooks
- Use B-roll effectively to make talking videos more interesting
- Edit short-form content for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Perform basic color correction and audio cleanup
- Add appropriate sound effects and background music
- Maintain good pacing and storytelling throughout the video
- Follow brand guidelines and editing instructions
- Make revisions based on feedback
- Complete assigned projects within deadlines
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Basic to good knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Understanding of video editing, pacing, and storytelling
- Good understanding of B-roll usage
- Ability to create engaging text animations and transitions
- Basic knowledge of color correction
- Basic audio editing and sound design skills
- Creative mindset and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new editing techniques and trends
