Company Description Hanging Hammer is an award-winning design and turnkey studio specializing in residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare interiors, based in Hyderabad. Founded by principal designers Purna Ghosh and Sourojit Ghosh, the studio focuses on bespoke interiors, furniture, and lighting design for a luxury clientele.

The team creates spaces that are sophisticated yet comfortable, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From concept to completion, Hanging Hammer emphasizes “Concept to Built,” crafting original designs and bringing them to life with meticulous attention to detail. The studio is known for its distinctive design perspectives, experimenting thoughtfully with space, colors, materials, finishes, and light to deliver unique experiences for each client.

Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Hyderabad.

The Video

Editor will collaborate with designers, marketing, and project teams to create video content that showcases interiors, design concepts, project stories, and brand narratives. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into polished videos, adding transitions, titles, and sound, and preparing versions optimized for social media, presentations, and client communications. The role also involves basic motion graphics work,



color correction and grading to maintain a consistent visual style, and organizing media assets to ensure efficient workflows.

The Video

Editor will contribute creative ideas for visual storytelling and support documentation of ongoing and completed projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and high-quality visual output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, overlays, and branded visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of composition, pacing, and sound design are beneficial.
- 1-3 years of experience in video editing
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in an on-site studio environment is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
