Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Kochi.
The Video
Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished video content for marketing, corporate communication, and social media channels, ensuring brand consistency and high production quality. Daily tasks include collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements, organizing and managing video assets, and applying transitions, effects, and sound to produce engaging content. The role involves color grading, basic motion graphics,
and integrating graphics or text overlays to enhance visual storytelling.
The Video
Editor will also assist in occasional video production activities, maintain organized project files, and meet deadlines across multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong video editing skills, including proficiency in Video Editing and Video Production workflows.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and high-quality visual output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and overlays.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, timing, and sound design, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Prior experience in corporate, agency, or digital content environments, and familiarity with social media video formats, is an advantage.
