Job Purpose

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality video content for Anurag Universitys digital platforms, social media, events, campaigns, and institutional communications.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and produce videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, event highlights, interviews, testimonials, and campus videos.
- Edit raw footage, synchronize audio, add transitions, captions, graphics, music, and visual effects.
- Collaborate with the Branding, Marketing, Admissions, and other departments to understand video requirements.
- Ensure videos follow the University's brand guidelines, visual identity, and communication standards.
- Shoot basic video content when required using cameras, smartphones, and other equipment.
- Create videos suitable for different formats such as 9:16, 16:9, and 1:1.
- Maintain an organized library of raw footage, project files, graphics, and final videos.
- Stay updated with current social media video trends, editing techniques, and content formats.




- Deliver projects within agreed timelines while maintaining quality and consistency.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of video editing and post-production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, audio editing, and typography.
- Good understanding of social media content and video trends.
- Creative eye for storytelling, composition, pacing, and visual presentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
- Valuable time management and attention to detail.

Education & Experience

- Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Film Making, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Experience: 13 years of relevant experience in video editing, digital content creation, media, branding, or social media.
- with a strong portfolio and relevant skills may also be considered.

Preferred

- Experience in educational institutions, corporate branding, digital marketing, or social media content creation.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
