About the role

Apex Consulting is looking for a creative, dependable Video Editor to produce polished videos for digital platforms and client projects. You’ll turn raw footage, briefs, and feedback into engaging content while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Key responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos, reels, social media content, promotional videos, and other assigned projects.
- Select the best footage and arrange it into clear, engaging stories.
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, music, and sound effects where appropriate.
- Improve audio, colour, and pacing to give each video a professional finish.
- Adapt videos to the required platform, format, aspect ratio, and brand guidelines.
- Work with the team to understand briefs, share drafts, and make revisions.
- Organize project files, footage,



and final exports so they are easy to find and reuse.
- Manage multiple assignments and deliver completed videos on time.

Requirements
- A portfolio or samples showing your video editing work.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or an equivalent tool.
- A good understanding of pacing, storytelling, audio, captions, and social media video formats.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow a brief and incorporate feedback.
- Clear communication and the ability to work independently from home.
- A suitable computer, reliable internet connection, and the ability to attend online team meetings.

Experience with motion graphics, basic animation, or tools such as After Effects is an advantage.
