Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for Video Anchors located in Bhopal. The role involves presenting news and feature segments on camera, delivering scripted and unscripted content clearly and confidently. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and refining scripts, coordinating with reporters and producers, and preparing for live and recorded broadcasts.

Anchors are expected to engage audiences with professional on-screen presence, maintain awareness of current events, and uphold journalistic standards. The role also includes participating in pre-production meetings, working closely with the editorial team,



and supporting promotional and special programming as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong reporting skills, including gathering information, verifying facts, and collaborating with newsroom staff.
- Broadcasting and Presenter skills, with the ability to deliver content on camera with clarity, confidence, and professional demeanor.
- News Writing and Broadcast Journalism skills, including scriptwriting, structuring stories, and understanding newsroom workflows.
- Excellent verbal communication, pronunciation, and articulation in relevant working languages.
- Comfort with on-camera work, including live broadcasts and recorded segments.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, handle breaking news, and adapt quickly to changes in scripts or schedules.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with producers, editors, and technical teams on-site.
- Prior experience in television or digital video journalism, or formal education in journalism, mass communication, or a related field is beneficial.
