Core Responsibilities

- Student Discipline and Welfare: Manage student behavior, enforce school rules, and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive school culture.

- Administrative Operations: Oversee daily logistics like master timetables, substitute teacher coverage, emergency drills, and facility maintenance.

- Staff Support and Evaluation: Assist in hiring, mentoring, and evaluating teachers to improve instructional quality.

- Parent and Community Communication: Meet with families to address concerns regarding student progress, attendance, or behavior.

- Leadership and Deputizing: Step in as acting principal and help implement school-wide policies and improvement plans when the principal is absent.

Qualification

Educational Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree: A foundational undergraduate degree in a teachable subject or education.

- Master's Degree: An advanced degree in educational administration, leadership, or curriculum and instruction.

- Teacher Certification: A valid state or regional teaching license. (B.ed, M.ed)

- Administrator Credential:



Most regions and school districts require a specific principal or administrative endorsement.

Experience and Skills

- Teaching Experience: Typically 5 to 8 years of successful classroom teaching. Some public systems (like central government or civil service posts) require specific years of service as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) or Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT).

- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage student behavior, evaluate staff, and support school operations.

- Communication: Robust conflict resolution, organizational, and interpersonal abilities to work with parents, teachers, and students.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
