Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and agile Vice Principal to support the Principal in the overall academic, administrative and operational management of the school.

The Vice

Principal will be the second-in-command and should be capable of independently managing the school in the Principal's absence.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strong academic leadership and ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum, assessments and academic standards.
- Manage and oversee CBSE Board Examination processes including registration, internal assessments, practicals, documentation and examination compliance.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, CBSE circulars and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and smooth functioning of the school, including discipline, attendance, safety and school operations.
- Lead and mentor teachers, HODs and coordinators, monitor performance and drive professional development.
- Work closely with the Admissions team on enrolment,



parent interactions and student retention.
- Handle parent escalations, student issues and stakeholder management effectively.
- Support the Principal in school planning, events, policies, academic improvement initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Step in as the acting head of the school in the Principal's absence.

Candidate Profile

- Master's Degree with B.Ed. mandatory.
- 12–18 years of experience in school education, preferably in a CBSE school.
- 3–5 years in a senior academic/leadership role such as Vice Principal, Academic Head, Senior Coordinator, Headmistress/Headmaster, etc.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of CBSE curriculum, Board examinations and CBSE affiliation/compliance.
- Proven experience in academic leadership, school administration and people management.
- Excellent communication, decision-making and parent/stakeholder management skills.
