Lambda Therapeutic Research is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic leader to head its Pharmacovigilance (PV) function at a Vice President level. The incumbent will be responsible for driving strategic growth of the Pharmacovigilance business, ensuring operational excellence, managing profitability, strengthening client relationships, and expanding global PV service offerings.

The role requires a strong blend of business development expertise, operational leadership, P&L; management, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will be accountable for business expansion while providing strategic direction and support to the PV Operations team.

Strategic Leadership

- Lead and manage the overall Pharmacovigilance business for Lambda Therapeutic Research.
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategic plans for growth and expansion of PV services.
- Establish Lambda as a preferred global Pharmacovigilance partner for pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
- Drive innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across PV functions.

Business Development & Client Acquisition

- Develop current business opportunities and expand Pharmacovigilance service offerings globally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, and healthcare clients.
- Achieve annual revenue growth targets and business acquisition goals.
- Represent Lambda at industry conferences, client meetings, and international forums.

P&L; Management

- Own and manage the complete Profit & Loss (P&L;) responsibility for the Pharmacovigilance business.
- Monitor revenues, margins, resource utilization, and operational costs.




- Develop strategies to improve profitability and optimize departmental performance.
- Ensure achievement of financial and business performance objectives.

Operational Oversight

- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the Head of PV Operations and functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements including US FDA, EMA, MHRA, PMDA, and other international regulations.

Productivity Improvement & Operational Excellence

- Drive process optimization and productivity enhancement initiatives across the department.
- Improve efficiency, turnaround time, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement best practices and benchmark operational excellence against global standards.

Automation & Digital Transformation

- Lead digitalization and automation initiatives across the Pharmacovigilance function.

Leadership & People Management

- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing Pharmacovigilance teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer focus.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Support organizational growth through strategic capability building.

Candidate Profile

Education

- MBBS Preferred MD

Experience

- Minimum 20 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and revenue generation within Pharmacovigilance services.
- Proven track record of managing large PV operations and global client portfolios.
- Experience handling P&L; responsibility and driving profitable growth.
- Strong exposure to international regulatory requirements and Pharmacovigilance systems.
