The Vice President – Accounts & Finance is the senior-most finance role within the Pai Kane Group, responsible for the entire financial architecture across a multi-entity, multi-geography manufacturing organisation. The group comprises multiple companies operating from India (Goa, Maharashtra) and the UK (Sheffield), with a combined product portfolio spanning generator sets, transformers, compact substations, switchboards, pumps, and renewable energy solutions, serving customers in 86+ countries.

Reporting directly to the Chairman & Managing Director, the VP will own financial strategy, statutory compliance, treasury, taxation, ERP governance, costing, MIS, audit, and banking relationships across the group. This is a hands-on leadership role — the successful candidate must be equally comfortable presenting to the board and rolling up their sleeves to fix a reconciliation. The group is in an aggressive growth phase with multiple new verticals launching simultaneously, which demands a finance leader who can build systems that scale, not merely maintain what exists.

The ideal candidate brings 15–20 years of progressively responsible finance experience in a manufacturing company with ERP-driven operations and a minimum revenue scale of ₹700–1000 crores.

Job Responsibilities

1. Group Financial Management & Reporting: Own the preparation and presentation of consolidated and entity-wise financial statements across all Pai Kane Group companies (India and UK). Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Deliver board-ready MIS packs, P&L; analysis, cash flow forecasts, and variance commentary to the CMD.

9. Customs, Export Incentives & Trade Compliance: Oversee customs duty management, export documentation, MEIS/RoDTEP claims, EPCG obligations, and trade compliance across the group’s substantial export operations. Ensure the group maximises legitimate duty advantages and incentive schemes.

10. Team Leadership & Capability Building: Build, mentor, and lead the accounts and finance team across group entities. Establish clear roles, reporting lines, and performance standards. Develop the team’s capability in ERP usage, analytical reporting, and business partnering.
