Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinary Surgeon role based at the Pinaka Vets hospital in Panipat.

The Veterinary

Surgeon will perform soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, manage pre-operative and post-operative care, and provide medical consultations for a variety of companion animals.

Responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatment plans, and overseeing in-patient and out-patient care. The role involves collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff, interpreting diagnostic tests,



maintaining accurate medical records, and communicating clearly with pet parents about treatment options and follow-up care.

The Veterinary

Surgeon will also participate in emergency care rotations, contribute to clinical protocols, and support ongoing quality improvement and training initiatives within the hospital.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Veterinary Surgery skills, including competence in soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.
- Candidates should possess Veterinary Medicine and general Medicine expertise for diagnosis, treatment, and long-term case management.
- Candidates should possess Pet Care skills, with a focus on animal welfare, handling, and compassionate client communication.
- Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills for interpreting diagnostic tests and collaborating with laboratory teams.
- Recognized degree in Veterinary Science (e.g., BVSc or equivalent) and valid registration with the relevant veterinary council.
- Experience in a multi-specialty or high-volume veterinary hospital setting is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, manage emergencies, and make sound medical decisions under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in medical record-keeping, and commitment to continuous professional development.
