Looking for an experienced Vehicle Hiring Manager / Fleet Manager to handle daily vehicle placement and fleet operations at our Vapi branch.

Key Responsibilities:

- Arrange and place vehicles against daily customer requirements.

- Hire market vehicles from truck owners, brokers and transporters.

- Negotiate freight rates, detention and other commercial terms.

- Develop and maintain a strong local transporter/truck-owner network.

- Maximise utilisation of company-owned vehicles and minimise empty running.

- Coordinate with drivers, customers, loading points and plants for timely dispatch.

- Track vehicles and resolve breakdowns, delays and operational issues.

- Maintain lane-wise freight rates, vendor performance and daily MIS.

- Coordinate freight settlements and ensure LR/POD/trip documentation.

- Ensure vehicle, driver and transport compliance.

Candidate Profile:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle hiring, traffic or fleet placement.

- Experience with a road transporter, fleet owner or 3PL.

- Robust knowledge of Vapi/South Gujarat vehicle and transporter market.

- Good negotiation skills with truck owners and brokers.





- Experience in industrial/chemical/container cargo will be an advantage.

- Good knowledge of Excel, GPS tracking and basic ERP/TMS.

- Hindi and Gujarati proficiency required; working English preferred.

- Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Vapi preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
