UX Researcher

8848 Digital LLP provides clients with high-quality ERPNext implementations, application customizations, management consulting, and a variety of technical infrastructure services. 8848 Digital delivers enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to mid-market companies around the world, including custom web and mobile solutions. We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented UX Researcher to join our team.

As a UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform the design and development of intuitive, user-centered products. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers to ensure our solutions meet user expectations and deliver exceptional experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Plan, execute, and manage user research activities, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and heuristic evaluations.

● Leverage a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to gather user insights.

● Synthesize research findings into actionable insights, reports, and presentations.

● Create clear and compelling reports, presentations, and data visualizations to communicate findings.

● Work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to integrate research findings into product designs and strategies.

● Conduct user testing to support UX designers during prototype development and identify usability issues before product launch.

● Advocate for user-centric approaches throughout the product development lifecycle.

● Translate research insights into practical design recommendations that improve usability and user satisfaction.

● Create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive interface designs aligned with user needs and business objectives.

● Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile applications.

● Establish and maintain design systems, reusable components,



and UI guidelines to ensure consistency across products.

● Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs and maintain design quality throughout the development process.

● Participate in design reviews and continuously improve user experiences through iterative feedback and testing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.

● Minimum 3–5 years of experience in UX Research or a related role.

● 2–3 years of hands-on experience in UI Design, with the ability to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive interfaces.

● Familiarity with various research methodologies such as usability testing, A/B testing, user interviews, heuristic evaluations, and survey design.

● Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, including wireframing, mockups, design systems, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI creation.

● Experience with research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Hotjar, or similar platforms.

● Strong understanding of visual design principles, including typography, color theory, spacing, layout, and accessibility standards.

● Basic understanding of responsive design principles and platform-specific design considerations for web and mobile applications.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present research findings effectively to stakeholders.

● Ability to quickly learn and understand current software, research features, and functions.

● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities effectively.

● Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams comprising designers, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
