UI/UX DESIGNER

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer with 7+ years of professional experience to design intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging interfaces for complex enterprise web applications.

The role involves designing workflows for marine operations, vessel tracking maps, trip analytics, internal operational portals, and customer-facing web applications. The ideal candidate will combine strong visual design skills with user research, systems thinking, interaction design, prototyping, responsive design, and accessibility expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct user research, understand user needs, and map user journeys and operational workflows.
- Translate complex business and operational requirements into intuitive user experiences, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Design dashboards and workflows for marine operations, vessel tracking, maps, trip analytics, and other data-intensive applications.
- Design experiences for both internal platforms and customer-facing web applications.
- Create, document, and maintain a scalable design system covering components, typography, layouts, interaction patterns, and branding.
- Ensure consistency across products while maintaining usability, accessibility, and visual quality.
- Design responsive experiences optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate closely with React frontend developers and product teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Work with developers on interaction details, animations, microinteractions, and accessible user flows.
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, interaction flows, and design specifications using Figma and/or Adobe XD.
- Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback,



analyze findings, and continuously refine designs.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to solve complex user and business problems.
- Ensure designs follow WCAG accessibility standards and established UX best practices.
- Contribute to UX standards, design processes, and continuous improvement across the product portfolio.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory Skills

- 7+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
- Strong experience designing enterprise web applications, SaaS products, dashboards, or complex data-driven applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Figma and/or Adobe XD.
- Proven experience creating and maintaining design systems.
- Robust understanding of UX research, user journeys, information architecture, interaction design, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and accessible design principles.
- Strong experience with responsive web design across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Experience working closely with frontend engineers, particularly React-based development teams.
- Ability to simplify complex workflows and translate operational requirements into intuitive user experiences.

Good to Have

- Experience designing maps, geospatial interfaces, tracking applications, or location-based products.




- Experience with analytics dashboards and data visualization.
- Experience designing enterprise operational platforms or workflow-heavy applications.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and frontend development constraints.
- Experience with design tokens, component libraries, and design-system governance.
- Experience with usability testing and UX analytics.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum product development environments.
- Experience collaborating with distributed/global product and engineering teams.
