Role & responsibilities

1. Operate, monitor, and maintain all utility equipment including boilers, chillers, air compressors, nitrogen, cooling towers.
2. Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities such as steam, chilled water, chilled brine, compressed air, Dry air, Nitrogen and process water to production areas.
3. Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
4. Monitor utility parameters, maintain logbooks, prepare daily/monthly reports, and analyze performance for continuous improvement.
5. Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and EHS teams during routine operations, shutdowns, and emergency situations.
6. Ensure compliance with GMP, safety regulations, statutory requirements, environmental norms, and company SOPs.
7. Monitor energy and water consumption, identify improvement opportunities, and implement energy conservation initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge of utility systems, preventive maintenance, safety standards, documentation practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
