Role & responsibilities

- Operate, monitor, and maintain all utility equipment including boilers, chillers, air compressors, nitrogen, cooling towers.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities such as steam, chilled water, chilled brine, compressed air, Dry air, Nitrogen and process water to production areas.
- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Monitor utility parameters, maintain logbooks, prepare daily/monthly reports, and analyze performance for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and EHS teams during routine operations, shutdowns, and emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety regulations, statutory requirements, environmental norms, and company SOPs.
- Monitor energy and water consumption, identify improvement opportunities, and implement energy conservation initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge of utility systems, preventive maintenance, safety standards, documentation practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
