Responsibilities

- As a member of the UX Design team, prototype, and document user interaction experiences for customer facing modules of Intelligent Planning domain, in Applications division. The specific module of work is SizePack/Pricing.
- The duties of this position will include collaborating with product management and other customer facing executives of Industrials division, gathering user insights from business requirements, conducting usability studies, prototyping and producing detailed interaction experience design artifacts, in form of mock-ups, UI specifications, ensuring user interface consistency within a multi application suite of Intelligent Planning, creating and maintaining usability standards; evaluating current technology, and other duties as assigned.
- Works in cross functional team s set-up to translate functional requirements into system design.
- Work actively with product management team members to understand details of the project requirements and translate them into desired user journeys.
- Performs secondary research focused on the domain best practice and customer/user behaviour.




- Focuses on most prevalent use cases and usage scenarios for specific business functionality then to define a journey map of feature/functions.
- Work on functional requirements to translate them into contextual mock ups, via use cases. Work involves in detailing out system design.
- Work on effectivity of the task flow and an overall efficiency of customer/user experience.
- Ensure usable, accessible, branded and visually appealing UIs. Maintain user experience consistency within a multi-facetted business solution of SAS.
- Run design reviews, usage walkthroughs, and usability tests with key stakeholders from the domain and with the mentorship of senior UX designers of the team, to validate designs and iterate designs as needed. Prepares feasibility studies and designs tests to determine operating characteristics of software as required.
- Gains appropriate levels of proficiency with SAS Design Framework, and its best practices. - It is important to carry learning attitude to understand SAS standards for design, Accessibility, Internationalization etc. - It is especially important to document all behavioural aspects of the design in a form that is easily understood by multi-functional stake holders.

Technology

- Understanding of Applications domain - mainly in Retail and FMCG Planning business




- To envision user journeys for Size Pack modules of Intelligent Planning.
- Map SAS s UX design best practices, Design System, and front-end components/framework, to the domain requirements, to come up with design artifacts based on design standard of SAS.
- Understand business domain and its intended users to map them with its business processes.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Proficient and hands-on experience with the screen design and mock-up development skills.
- Proficient in image processing/prototyping tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD
- Exposure to any programming paradigm and frameworks such as React JS, bootstrap 5, would be an additional benefit
